Where to Go
A hidden gem in Qatar. Chill vibes and great indoor and outdoor seating options. Located on the rooftop, The House has an amazing view of Lusail. Even better to visit on cold days. You can sit near a fireplace with a blanket around you. A diverse menu of food, coffee and dessert. The low light and the cozy atmosphere will make you feel like you are on a date even if you are with "just a friend".
Elegant. Vintage. Masculine. The menu offers coffees, mojitos and hand-rolled cigars from Cuba.
A dining option is available between 15:00 to 01:00 Doha time.
In The Ned Doha's lobby, you will find The Nickel Lounge. 70s-inspired interior design. Live music. Ideal for afternoon tea.
You can also go to Millie's Lounge just next to it. It has outdoor seating and a great view of the Corniche.
A cult favorite in Doha. Earth is a must-visit when in Qatar. Always expect a long queue.
About a 30-minute drive from Doha, you will find the modest town of Al Wakrah. If you are a fan of Qatar's most popular tourist destination Souq Waqif, Souq Al Wakrah is a less-crowed version of it. In it is a delightful place called Pampas Garden. A cafe/restaurant that directly faces the beach. If you love underrated and instagramable places, Pampas is for you.
Chedi Katara by Singapore-based GHM is Q Club's favourite hotel in Qatar. It has it all. Dining. Lounges. Pool. Beach. It's minimal and sophisticated. You can stay at one of the lavish rooms or villas where you can have your own pool, or go to the public beach/pool. They also have a family friendly section.
Always a correct choice for afternoon tea with a friend or a quick business meeting. The Ottoman-inspired lounge also offers a great food menu and lovely view to the hotel's pool and beach.
"Meet Me At Medium Locale"
If you want a calm cafe, this one is for you. Ideal for studying and catch-ups. Comfortable grey color palette. The menu never misses. Try the cloud matcha latte.
You can best enjoy summer in Qatar at the French Riviera-inspired Bagatelle Beach Club. Bagatelle is located all over the world. Similar to its location in Athens, Bagatelle Beach Club Doha goes beyond just being a restaurant and gives you access to a pool and a beach.
You can also discover Al Maha Island which houses top-tier restaurants; Zuma, LPM, Carbone and Billionaire Club, as well as the world-class theme park Lusail Winter Wonderland.
Opulence at its finest. Feels like a space in the Palace of Versailles. Lovely place for breakfast and afternoon tea.
You will also spot Vincent Faudemer's large-scale sculpture in the hotel's lobby.
"Olive you so much"
Everyone loves pizza! Juno is our pick. West Walk has plenty of choices but Juno stands out for us. Sleek aesthetic and a great range of food selection other than pizza.
Visiting the National Museum of Qatar is clear must when in Qatar. But don’t forget the Desert Rose Café operated by Chef Noof Al Marri, one of the best chefs in Qatar specializing in Qatari cuisine. Not only does it have a great menu, but also has a great view of the Corniche.
It is also located next to the museum’s Baraha courtyard which housed notable exhibitions by HERMÈS.
The interior of the cafe is inspired by Jean Nouvel’s avant-garde design of the museum. Desert rose refers to the rose-like formation of crystal clusters found in Qatar’s deserts.
Time magazine named the National Museum of Qatar one of the World's Greatest Places to Visit in 2019.
QNL is a national library, a research university library and a public library. Designed by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, it opened in 2018.
Great place to visit when discovering Education City which houses top ranking universities such as Carnegie Mellon, Georgetown, Northwestern, Texas A&M, Virginia Commonwealth and Weill Cornell.
The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra performs monthly at QNL for the public for free.
An opulent wellness center. It offers space for social gatherings as well as a spa, a gym, a salon and a beachside padel court.
You can also enjoy Boho Social, a restaurant located just above the club with a beautiful view of Katara Cultural Village and the sea.
